Our Name

“Wich” is derived from an Anglo-Saxon term meaning a marketplace.  It’s also half of
that big, juicy quick-food product, the sandwich, supposedly coined by the 18th Century Earl of
that name who didn’t want to stop playing cards while dining.  By adding TRIP to WICH, a whole
new definition is born: TRIPWICH.COM is a marketplace for unbiased reports about every aspect
of a destination.  All you have to do is have really big helpings of fun!
